Because of the established status of the Church of England, there is a session in Parliament once a month where MPs can ask questions relevant to the Church and its activities. An MP is designated to respond on their behalf and currently this role is carried out by Caroline Spelman.

Last week, Theresa Villiers asked how the Anglican Church can play a part in helping victims of famine in South Sudan. The Church has 5 million members and 43 diocese in South Sudan and it is well placed to deliver relief efforts. You can watch Theresa's question, and the response from Dame Caroline Spelman, in the video above.
