There’s only five days left to save the green belt in Barnet from attack by Labour!
In today’s Times. Keir Starmer has said that within three weeks of Labour winning power, Angela Rayner will have written to local authorities to tell them to start a process of “regularly reviewing” their green belt boundaries to ensure they are hitting housing targets. The intention is that councils will identify areas to be “reclassified for development.”
The green belt has protected our environment and safeguarded the suburban character of Barnet for 50 years. Don’t let Labour destroy it. Don’t give Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner a supermajority. I have always fought to protect the green belt. For example I teamed up with residents recently to stop a caravan park being built on a field in Underhill. My Labour opponent backs Labour planning reforms which will mean residents have far less of a say in what is built in their neighbourhood.
Please give me your vote on Thursday so I can campaign to save our precious green belt. Barnet is a special place and I will always fight to keep it that way.
